Update-Bella follow up in SLC

The neurosurgeon was pleased with how Bella is presenting neurologically. He has reduced her chances of needing a permanent chat shunt to 20%. That is great news. He did not like the way the ultrasounds looked on her ventricles. But, he was very pleased with how she's doing neurologically!
She has also recently followed up with a pediatrician here in town & been diagnosed with Thrush. So she has started on a new medication for that.
The pediatrician also changed her reflux medication to Prevacid. As she has not been tolerating feeding very well and we have been fearful she is developing an oral aversion, which is really scary!
So we pray, fret, pray more, worry, then everyone reminds us to be patient. It's tough. It's emotionally & physically draining.
Thank you for all the prayers & support. We do appreciate your positiveness& faith and prayers. We will try to keep up the blog a little better. Just been super busy!
